The Regulatory Authority of Post and Electronic Communications announces the results of the evaluation of the bids relating to the competitive tendering procedure No. 01/2023, intended for electronic communications operators, holders of licences for the establishment and operation of public mobile telecommunications networks, for the provision of the universal electronic communications service for the coverage of 1 400 low population density localities.

The results of the bid opening and evaluation revealed for:

• Algérie Télécom Mobile “ATM”: bid rejected for non-compliance with the provisions of the Rules for the Award of Contracts by Invitation to Tender (“RAC”) relating to the form of presentation of the bid;
• Wataniya Télécom Algérie “WTA”: obtained the highest score for eighty-three (83) lots, i.e. one thousand two hundred and eleven (1 211) localities;
• Optimum Télécom Algérie “OTA”: obtained the highest score for thirteen (13) lots, i.e. one hundred and eighty-nine (189) localities.

In accordance with the provisions of the RAC, bidders may lodge an appeal with the Regulatory Authority within a period not exceeding five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this press release. Click here for results.
