Who are we?

The Regulatory Authority of Post and Electronic Communications (previously the “ARPT”) is an independent institution, with a legal personality and financial autonomy, responsible for regulating the postal and electronic communications markets on behalf of the State.

In addition, and by virtue of the provisions of Article 30 of Law No. 15-04 of 11 Rabi’ al-Thani 1436 corresponding to 1st February 2015, the Regulatory Authority has been entrusted with the mission of Economic Electronic Certification Authority (“AECE”).

This is why:

  • We are working to improve the quality of services provided by operators;
