Competitive bidding no. 01/2025 for the granting of three (03) licenses for the establishment and operation of a public mobile electronic communications network of the fifth generation (5G) and the provision of related services.

In accordance with the provisions of the Law no. 18-04 of 10 May 2018 laying down general rules on post and electronic communications. and the Executive Decree no.01-124 of 9 May 2001, defining the procedure for awarding telecommunications licences by competitive tendering, and in application of the decree of 28 May 2025, laying down the date of the launch of the competitive bidding to grant licences of establishment and operation of mobile electronic communications network of the fifth generation 5G open to the public and the provision of related services, the Regulatory Authority of Post and Electronic Communications launches the competitive bidding for the granting of three 3 licences to establish and operate mobile electronic communications network of the fifth generation 5G open to the public and the provision of related services.

This competitive bidding is intended for the three operators holding licences of establishment and operation of mobile networks of electronic communications GSM, 3G and 4G open to the public in Algeria.

Operators interested in this competitive bidding may withdraw the competitive bidding file from the Regulatory Authority’s headquarters at 01 Rue Kaddour Rahim, 16005 Hussein Dey – Algiers, from 29 May 2025 until June 1st 2025, from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, against payment of 1 000 000,00 DZD, by transfer to the account of the Regulatory Authority of Post and Electronic Communications.
